Little moments to warm my heart,,,

I was blog surfing this afternoon, and I clicked on a friends blog. I saw something that I really liked, and I decided to do it too. She writes down little moments from her kids, that bring a smile to her face. They may not have any meaning to you, but to me, as a mom, I want to remember these little moments forever....
Here are a few to get me started:

  • The way Boston says "whooowhoo" when he is trying to get your attention and you haven't responded to him calling your name.
  • The way that when I ask Boston if he wants something, he immediatly says no...then quickly says "well maybe I do"
  • The way Rylee talks in a sweet soft quiet voice to Lilly
  • I love Ashton's imagination right now. He is really into Pirates, and he could entertain himself all day long, using paper towel rolls as telescopes, and toilet paper rolls as hooks. Love this boy.
  • Ash has this face he makes, when he is excited about something, but doesn't want to show too much excitement. Its like a hidden smile...and I love it. I wish I could capture it on picture, but he is so random about it, I'm not sure that'll ever happen.
  • Sweet little Lilly has the biggest yawns I have ever seen. Seriously, they last forever, and her little mouth is stretched huge. I love it. Makes me and Casey smile every time.
  • I love how Ry loves barbies right now. She doesn't have a boy barbie, so she will use whatever she can find. Meaning, she will use Ashton's transformers, army guys, wolverine,...any boy toy she can find :) Her birthday is Tuesday, maybe I should get her a Ken doll :)
  • This one is just for me...so skip ahead if you don't want to read but the other day I was nursing Lilly, and I didn't have a blanket covering me up, and Bos hops up on the couch and starts laughing really hard, and I said "whats so funny buddy" he says "Lilly is eating your boobie" - did I mention I love him?

Well Lilly is calling me....time to eat :) But I will try to post these little moments often, so I can remember my sweet kids.

Its amazing how we forget the little things so fast. My kids will do something that makes me laugh or smile and I think I will never forget it but I do. I keep a journal for my kids and I try to write down things everyday. Cute things your kids do!! I miss your little ones.
