I am now 37 weeks and almost 3 days...Never carried a baby this long.
Little Lilly tried to come at 33 weeks and some days...and they stopped her after 3 long days in the hospital. I was discharged to go home on bedrest, and had to take nifedapine every 4 hours...even during the night to stop my contractions.
I was taken off bedrest and the meds at 36 weeks...thought for sure she would be here shortly after that...
But she's not.
On Monday I was dilated to a 4+...if I get to a 5 my doc will send me to the hospital.
I walked. I walked and I walked. I walked up and over foremaster ridge, then all the way to Golds Gym...which was 2.6 miles...
In the heat. Like serious heat. St.George heat.
Mild Contractions.
Tuesday, I scrubbed my baseboards, scrubbed all 3 bathrooms, vaccumed, dusted, swept, mopped {on my hands and knees}, and did all my laundry.
Mild Contractions.
Wednesday, I was pretty fed up. Cried like a baby. Sore back. Lost motivation to try anything.
Thursday, I was feeling a little better, so I decided to head to my Father In Laws to jump on his trampoline. Fun times with the kids...
But now Lilly has had the hiccups since about 3:30 this afternoon.
Mild Contractions.
I think I give up. Docs wanted her to stay in, and so she is....until they force her out, which won't be more than 2 weeks away. *sigh* guess I can live with that.
Yup, I am learning patience.

I am glad she has stayed in so long for you :) But I am excited for when she comes! Good luck with everything
I hope she come soon! All my babies were born in the summer and it is just so stinkin hot! :)
Hopefully she gets here soon! Maybe she will come on Mace's birthday! That would mean only 4 more days!
Silly Lilly...
just remember...the womb is the safest place for her to be finishing up! :) I'm excited for you!!
