As most or some of you know, Ashton has a small tumor in his cheek that was discovered about 6 months ago. We thought it was a bug bite, when he was complaining of pain, but we took him to the doctor anyways. Well the doc gave us an antibiotic, and we left. Over the last 6 months it has doubled in size, and his still causing him pain. We were referred to a specialist, who decided to do a CT on it to determine size and if it was something to 'worry about'. We had the CT about 2 weeks ago, these pictures are from then. Excuse the tiredness in the pictures. We were told to keep him up until midnight, and wake him up at 5:00 am. We were all so tired!! He did really good with the CT, no tears at all. NOt even when they poked him with the IV. The CT results came back pretty good. Its not attached to anything but skin, so it makes the chances of it being cancer even less :) He is having surgery on Dec 8 to have it removed. If you could keep this little brave dude in your prayers, it would be much appriciated. I am anxious and nervous for the surgery, but he is in really good hands! I love this little brave boy so much!Pictures:
Him in the big recliner, getting comfy!
Me and him snuggling in the big recliner
My older sis and him....I am so glad she came! What a great aunt!
Him in the hospital bed, playing with legos while waiting for the IV, and the CT
