This morning we were having our garage sale, and my wonderful nephew was playing in the backyard with my kids {entertaining them so I could handle the sale} and Ashton came running to the front yard telling me Rylee was crying REALLY hard. I told him to tell her to come get me. She was saying her arm hurt, but I just thought maybe she twisted it wrong. She had been jumping on the trampoline with my nephew and Ashton, and she got bounced just a little bit too high, and landed funny on her arm. I got her a sippy cup, and turned on Dora, and went back out to my garage sale- thinking everything was okay. She came out just minutes later, screaming. Anyways, to make a long story short, she cried for 2 hours straight before I finally decided to take her to the ER. I left Casey to handle the garage sale, and off we went. After a few x-rays, they (the docs) found it to be broken, just above her LEFT elbow, all the way straight across. It was too swollen to cast, so we go back to an orthepedic doc on tuesday to get a cast. LOVELY.
Any guesses how much my daughter will cost with medical bills in her lifetime?!?! We don't have health insurance....but thats okay, we'll survive. I am just glad things are okay, and not worse.
This little girl is the most accident prone girl in the world...aside from me. I think she is following in MY footsteps, what do you think? I have broke BOTH my right and left arms {at seperate times of course} had my appendix and gal bladder removed, had stitches in my chin and eye brow, and had my left knee scoped from injuring it in highschool. I'm sure there is more, I just can't think at the moment. Like mother like daughter eh? :)
p.s. Did I tell you that on July 28th Rylee has to have a root canel? No Dental insurance either. I think the month of July will break our bank so if any of you have an extra money tree seeds, I could use one to plant in the backyard, because I think our money tree died:)
