Buh Bye Binki!

I took Boston's binki away! I actually took it down to only bedtime about a month or two ago, but just about a week ago- right when he turned one, I decided to take it fully away. I'm just not a huge fan of a walking tot with a plug in his mouth! Meh, my own opinion though ;) But he has done WONDERFUL without! It makes me wish I would have taken it away sooner! He is also off the bottle too! Yes, we have an almost toddler on our hands :D

Good for Bos to be doing so well without the binkie! Brig's pretty addicted to his still, our goal is by Christmas. We have tried and tried to do without, but we're kind of pushovers on the subject - pick your battles, right? Anyway, I love the posts of his b-day! Looks like such a fun day! It took me a minute to realize that was Chase in those pics! Holy cow, he's a man, not the little kid I remember!

Way to go! I am so with you on this one. If they arn't crying they dont need a binkie in their mouthes!

Good for you...being in the dental field I am happy that you took the binki away! :) Oh and Hallee didn't get any teeth until she was 14 months and I als=most had my dentist take x-rays but they came... and are still coming... just slowly so I am sure that boston will have his teeth soon. (By the way it is a lot better that they get their teeth later when they aren't drinking from the bottle anymore... less cavities that way) I am sure you don't care about all this stuff. Just though I'd let ya know. BY the way I am so sorry that I haven't been over there to get some wall talk... I atill want some really bad for the new nursery it has just been more crazy than I though with 2 kids. :)

Good idea. I wish I would have taken Easton's away when he was young because it is a struggle now that he is older, only at bedtime though and hopefully the binki fairy will take it away for good, soon! Its hard to hear him scream for hours at night when we have taken it away. Zac and I always give in oops

How did you get Boston off the bottle?! I need help with that because his nighttime bottle is like a security blanket to him...and okay, for me too.

YEah, I can't really say much.....My kids are both still hooked to binkies. i do not understand how to just take them away. Roscoe is so hooked, and Lexi is so old. We have it down to night time and car rides. She hates the Binky Fairy with a passion....Ha.

Meghan, I'm sorry! I think I totally copied you and got the same background that you do. I didn't realize that! Hope you don't care! :)
